FAQ
For the past few years, I have helped friends with their children’s college essays. Some of them recommended me to their friends, and now I am turning that knowledge into a business. I have had experiences with College Application essays, Law School essays, Grad School (Kinesiology and Mental Health Counseling) essays and Scholarship essays.
Typically, the first meeting will be us reading the prompt or prompts together. We’ll brainstorm and outline the student’s ideas and get them ready to draft their first draft. I will look at the draft, and I’ll help with the organization, grammar, vocabulary, etc. We’ll then look at both the original and edited drafts, and finalize an essay that we can all be proud to submit.
I can’t offer such guarantees. There are many factors that go into the acceptance process and the essay is just one aspect, albeit an important one. Students I have worked with in the past have had a great deal of success. All I can promise is that I’ll help write an essay that will truly convey the heartfelt ideas of the student in a way that you can be proud of.
My strength is helping my students and their families get through the essay writing process in as stress-free a manner as possible. Having been a school teacher for 13 years and a camp professional for 29 years, I have been afforded the opportunity to work with children of all ages and backgrounds, as well as keeping in constant contact with parents and families. My goal is to create essays that everyone is proud of, while also removing the stress I have witnessed from many of my friends and their children.
